BIBLE TRUTH NEWS / EVENTS 2022 (SHREWSBURY CHRISTADELPHIANS)

Bible Truth news / events – Shrewsbury Christadelphians are holding a number of Bible Truth news/events in Shrewsbury. Most of these will be held at our meeting hall on the corner of Monkmoor Road/Tankerville Street, Shrewsbury.

PREACHING EVENT

At The Square in Shrewsbury Centre – 21st September

Who, what and why?

Who we are – The name means “brothers in Christ”, but of course also includes sisters in Christ.

What we do – We try, as best we can, to follow the commandments of our God, and that of His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why it matters – The Bible predicted the return of the people of Israel to their old land nearly 2000 years before it happened. If it got this right, against all the odds and many attempts to wipe out the Jewish nation, surely it is right about other things.

The Bible predicts a dominant Russia at the time of Christ’s return, a Russia that will invade Israel. The time this happens will also be a time of food shortages, of illnesses and pandemics, of people not knowing what to do in face of crisis after crisis, of Governments being corrupt and failing. Sound familiar?

ECCLESIA MEAL

13th AUGUST 2023

Twice each year we join together for a shared meal. This is on a Sunday and commences after our regular Breaking of Bread/Bible Talk, (Bible Talk to be earlier this Sunday – approx. 12.30). Meal – approx. 2.00pm

Our thanks as always for the food goes to Bro. Garry who always prepares and cooks a lovely meal.
